Fresh rates updates come from top shipping lines

French liner company CMA CGM Group has announced new freight of all kinds (FAK) rates from Asia, effective from 15 June and until further notice but not beyond 30 June.

North Europe includes the United Kingdom and the full range from Portugal to Finland/Estonia

At the same time, the 3rd largest shipping company will cancel as from 15 June the reefer empty equipment imbalance surcharge applicable to reefer cargo from Le Havre and Montoir in France to Asia and the emergency space surcharge from North Europe, Scandinavia and Poland to West Med, East Med, Adriatic and North Africa (Morocco excepted).

In addition, MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) will apply the following freight rates as from 27 June until further notice, but not beyond 27 July.

All Prices are in US$ unless otherwise specified

The above rates are inclusive of the base rate (ie ocean freight rate) and peak season surcharge (PSS) if any, and are subject to:

  • CSF (carrier security fee): US$11 / container
  • PCE (Panama Canal emergency surcharge) when applicable: US$15 / container.
