Following the decree by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) as per ref: 006 / 18, dated June 19, 2018 (document attached), we would like to draw your attention to the implementation of CTN (Cargo Tracking Notes) for all shipments entering Ghana, effective July 1, 2018.

The CTN process and supply of information as well as supporting documents on the global online platform is the sole responsibility of Shipper / Exporter / Forwarder at Port of Loading.

Authorities are requesting the following documentation:

  • A copy of the Pre-Validated CTN Certificate must be attached to the shipping instructions
  • A valid CTN number (from the Pre-Validated CTN Certificate) must be inserted on the B/L and manifest and it must be populated on all shipping documents
