Russia’s major container terminal operator Global Ports Group has commissioned a new reach stacker and a front loader at its inland terminal Yanino logistics park near Saint Petersburg.
Yanino Logistics Park is a multifunctional logistics facility located in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region, in the vicinity of Saint Petersburg.
The reachstacker at Yanino is used for handling various types of containers at warehouses and railway cargo fronts. With now four heavy lifters of this capacity in Yanino’s fleet, the terminal will increase the production capacity and efficiency of cargo handling.
Moreover, the new front loader will be used for smaller cargo operations and for cleaning the working areas of the terminal from snow and debris. In fact, the loader is indispensable in the conditions of snowy winters and off-season to quickly ensure the free passage of vehicles through the terminal.
