GXO, VTech expand collaboration

GXO Logistics, the world’s largest pure-play contract logistics provider, announced that it has expanded its partnership with VTech, a company in electronic learning products for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as the largest manufacturer of residential phones in the United States.

VTech operations are housed in 10,683 square meters of warehouse space at GXO’s West Hallam location, which includes e-commerce, picking and packaging, recycling, returns management, and value-added services.

“We’re delighted to extend our relationship with VTech,” stated Clare Davies, managing director of GXO Direct, U.K. and Ireland.

He further added, “Through GXO Direct, which is one of the largest flexible warehouse solutions in the U.K., we can give VTech access to the flexible space and premium services that it needs to rapidly launch new products and expand quickly and efficiently.”

The building houses around 1.2 million electronic learning toys and more than 100,000 telecom gadgets. GXO has provided various delivery choices as part of its service to assist VTech in growing its sales in the UK and Ireland.

Moreover, GXO Direct’s shared-space solution provides cutting-edge technology and unmatched features, such as quick delivery, direct-to-consumer capabilities, and returns management, all at a cheaper cost.

GXO Direct also assists businesses in expanding sales into new channels, such as e-commerce, and sharing resources aids in achieving economies of scale, lowering costs, reducing environmental impact, and providing a better customer experience.
