Hamburg Süd will implement a congestion surcharge

As consequence of the strike that has impacted main ports at Costa Rica, operations have been affected, delaying Hamburg Süd’s service deployment.

In order to maintain service quality, it has been agreed that as from September 29th a congestion surcharge of USD 200/Teu will be applied for Dry and Reefers, affecting imports and exports as well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your local sales or customer service representative.
