Hamburg Sud, Change of terminal in Buenos Aires

As a result of the recent media publications, in which Hamburg Süd is linked to being responsible for the decrease of the cargo volumes operated by TRP, the company would like to clarify to its customers, suppliers, authorities and the market in general that:

• Hamburg Süd had an exclusive contract with TRP until January 2019. In December 2017, TRP, by unilateral decision, terminated said contract. As a result, Hamburg Süd had to quickly find alternative terminals to operate in.

• Hamburg Süd has an obligation to its customers to ensure a high level of service in transport to and from Buenos Aires. With the new selection of a terminal, it will continue to maintain the quality and reliability and continue to enable international trade as per its long-standing record in the market.

Please, in case of any doubts, contact your local Hamburg Süd and Aliança office for more information.
