Hapag-Lloyd adds fresh GRI for Australian cargo

Hapag-Lloyd has announced a general rate increase (GRI) in Australia for all dry, reefer, non-operating reefer, tank, flat rack and open-top containers, effective from 1 October:

Services from South East Asia, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam to Australia will see a GRI of,

  • US$150/20’ all equipment types,
  • US$300/40’ all equipment types

In addition, services from Middle Eastern ports, including, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Yemen and the Indian SubcontinentBangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to Australia, will also see rate increases of,

  • US$150/20’ all equipment types
  • US$300/40’ all equipment types

Cargo from ports in North East Asia, including Korea, China, China/Hong Kong, China/Macau and China/Taiwan to Australia, will see higher increases of,

  • US$300/20’ all equipment types
  • US$600/40’ all equipment types
