Starting January 2025, Hapag-Lloyd is introducing its new East Med Express (EME) service. This service will provide direct connections from London Gateway (UK), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Bremerhaven (Germany), and Antwerp (Belgium) to Egypt.
“This service will connect to our Gemini Shuttle Network via our hubs to attractive other locations in the East-Med and North Europe,” said the German carrier, which will enter a new alliance scheme alongside Maersk Line in February 2025.
