Hapag-Lloyd announces new GRI from India and Pakistan to US East Coast

German container line Hapag-Lloyd has announced the following new general rate increase (GRI) / general rate adjustment (GRA) from India and Pakistan to the East Coast of the United States.

  • India to US East Coast: US$500 per container
  • Pakistan to US East Coast: US$200 per container

This GRI/GRA will apply to cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ dry, reefer and special containers, including high cube equipment and will be effective from 10 January 2024, and is valid until further notice.
