Hapag-Lloyd applies new peak season surcharge from Latin America to Europe

German container line Hapag-Lloyd has announced a new peak season surcharge (PSS) from the West Coast of Latin America, Central America and the Caribbean to North Europe and the Mediterranean.

The surcharge of US$900 per reefer container will be applicable to all sailings starting on 11 November and will be valid until further notice.

The company noted the implementation date for Colombia, Ecuador, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands will be 25 November.
