Hapag-Lloyd changes German port of call on IOS

German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has announced changes in its Indian Ocean Service (IOS), which will temporarily call at Wilhelmshaven instead of Hamburg to avoid the current congestion at Hamburg Container Terminal Altenwerder (CTA).

Effective from 15 November, the new temporary rotation for the IOS will be as follows:

Jebel Ali (UAE) ‭→ Karachi (Pakistan) ‭→ Nhava Sheva (India) ‭→ Mundra (India) ‭→ Tangier (Morocco) ‭→ Rotterdam (Netherlands) ‭→ Wilhelmshaven (Germany) ‭→ Antwerp (Belgium) ‭→ London Gateway (United Kingdom) ‭→ Tangier ‭→ Jebel Ali

Hapag-Lloyd has published the following details for the first vessel calling Wilhelmshaven, including Voyage, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and week:

Vessel/Voyage ETA Port Week
FRANKFURT EXPRESS V.4339W November 13, 2024 Wilhelmshaven 46

Expecting that the port situation in Hamburg will improve again, the German operator plans to return to Hamburg with the following vessel:
