Hapag-Lloyd implemented its Asia Express Service during the first quarter of 2020 to reduce the transit time from Valparaíso to Hong Kong during the Chilean Fruit Season 2020.
The Asia Express Service started as from Week 02 with vessel MOL BEYOND ETD Valparaíso 8 January and it will be extended until week 13 with the following sequence of voyages:
Hapag-Lloyd says that the seasonal express service connects Valparaiso and Hong Kong with a 22-day transit time and highlights the connection to Shanghai via Hong Kong in 27 days, with a network of feeders, which “ensures flexible and express delivery of cargo to other destinations in Asia via Hong Kong.”
