Hapag-Lloyd, revision of Mandatory User Charge

Hapag-Lloyd will incorporate the Mandatory User Charges Origin and Destination (MUO/MUD) for Chennai and Nhava Sheva for export and import shipments effective January 1, 2019 for all trades, valid until further notice, as follows:

 

Also, Hapag-Lloyd has already introduced the Mandatory User Charges Origin and Destination (MUO/MUD) for Krishnapatnam, Cochin, Kattupalli and Visakhapatnam for export and import shipments effective November 15, 2018 for all trades, valid until further notice, as follows:

Mandatory User Charges (MUD/MUO) Currency Charge per container
Krishnapatnam
(INKRI), Cochin (INCOK), Kattupalli (INKAT) and Visakhapatnam (INVTZ)
Indian Rupees (INR) 145

The above charges are subject to Goods and Services Tax at prevailing levels.

Charges will apply for all trades, including trades to and from Europe.

The Ocean Base rates as well as Bunker related surcharges, Terminal Handling, Security related surcharges, Peak Season surcharges (if applicable) and other charges remain unchanged and for European trades these can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
