Hapag-Lloyd publishes fresh rates from ISC and Middle East to America

Hapag-Lloyd has announced new general rate increases (GRI) from the Indian Subcontinent (ISC) and the Middle East to North America and East Coast South America.

Effective from 15 June, the German carrier will push up its rates for all cargoes and all container types from the Indian Subcontinent to East Coast South America with the GRI being US$750 per container.

In addition, Hapag-Lloyd will apply another GRI from the Indian Subcontinent (ISC) and the Middle East to the US and Canada as outlined below, with an effective date of 1 July.

The GRI will apply for all dry, reefer, non-operating reefer, tank, flat rack and open-top containers.

  • US$480 per 20′ standard container
  • US$600 per 40′ standard container
  • US$600 per 40′ high cube container
  • US$600 per 40′ reefer container
