Hapag-Lloyd will temporarily replace the port of Hamburg call on its China Germany Express (CGX) service with Wilhelmshaven.
This service update on CGX service, connecting China with Germany, will be effective from 9 April, when the Cyprus-flagged Nordspring is expected to depart Da Chan Bay, on its voyage 001W.
The revised rotation of the service will therefore be as follows:
Da Chan Bay (China) – Le Havre (France) – Wilhelmshaven (Germany)
The German liner operator explained that this change aims to provide a fast and reliable product offering amid operational disruptions impacting global supply chains.
This change will be in place until the high yard density in Hamburg stabilises and allow smoother operations, according to a statement.
