Hapag Lloyd upgrades West Africa service

In May, Hapag-Loyd established West Africa Service 1 (WA1) with new port calls in Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.

From 4 September, the German carrier has announced the change of its service frequency to weekly calls. Additionally, Hapag-Lloyd will introduce two more ports of call, while it will deploy two additional vessels on the rotation.

The updated port rotation of the service will be Tanger Med, MA -> Nouakchott, MR -> Conakry, GN -> Freetown, SL -> Monrovia, LR -> San Pedro, CI -> Banjul, GM -> Tanger Med, MA
