Hapag-Lloyd’s IEX service returns to Piraeus

Hapag-Lloyd has announced that the South East India – Europe Express (IEX) service will return to the Port of Piraeus in Greece.

More specifically the German ocean carrier will resume its calls to Piraeus port on its IEX service, effective from September, starting with the 4,500 TEU Seaspan Kobe (V. 2228W).

Hapag-Lloyd said it will continue the temporary omissions of Visakhapatnam (India) and Le Havre (France), which are caused mainly by operational challenges, according to the statement of the company.

Below you can find the updated rotation of the IEX service, published by Hapag-Lloyd:

The Hamburg-based container line has also published the following alternative options for the ports of Le Havre and Visakhapatnam.
