Hapag stops La Reunion call on MIAX service

Due to continuous considerable operational constraints Hapag-Lloyd has been experiencing on some of the ports called with its MIAX Service, the company has had to undertake measures to safeguard the service’s schedule integrity.

As a result, the German shipping firm will discontinue the La Reunion call on its MIAX Service until further notice.

This also implies ceasing cargo acceptance to Mauritius and Madagascar, which have been served via transhipment at La Reunion, says Hapag-Lloyd.

The new service rotation will be as follows:

The last vessel to call at Reunion will be MV Westermoor (voyage 2012W), sailing from Colombo ETD 31 March 2020 and ETA La Reunion 7 April 2020.
