HHLA TK Estonia handles largest ro-ro vessels to ever call at Muuga port

Finnlines’ vessels Finnsky, Finnbreeze, and Finneco arrived at HHLA TK Estonia terminal in February and March becoming the largest ro-ro vessels to dock in Muuga port.

The call of Finneco is especially noteworthy since the ship can accomplish zero emissions during port visits, according to HHLA.

Finnlines ships departing Travemünde in Germany called at Muuga port seven times in total. A total of 1,400 trucks, trailers, containers, and new passenger vehicles were unloaded in Estonia, while a total of 730 trucks, trailers, containers, and new passenger cars were loaded into the ships.

In addition, Finneco II, a 238-meter-long hybrid vessel of Finnlines’ ro-ro fleet, has been given a “Green Plus” environmental designation by the international classification association RINA.
