Hiab unveils new recycling crane

Hiab, a division of Cargotec, has introduced the new JONSERED iZ.18R HD recycling crane, featuring the advanced SPACEevo control system for enhanced productivity and safety.

This new model marks JONSERED’s entry into the 18 to 19 tm market segment, offering a robust and durable mechanical structure.

The JONSERED iZ.18R HD, equipped with the SPACEevo control system, sets new standards for safety and customization, aimed at boosting efficiency.

The integration of the Olsbergs Q200 valve, along with new hydraulics, sensors, and cables, ensures long-lasting durability for high-frequency usage.

Specifically designed for minimum eight-hour working cycles, this S3-classified crane offers reach variants from 8.6 to 10 meters.

To meet diverse operator needs, it is available in high seat, side seat (left and right), platform, and cabin configurations. Initially, the high seat configuration in the middle and side seat options will be available, with platform and cabin configurations to follow.

The control stations offer several optional variants, including mechanical steering (2+2), remote control, and advanced electric joysticks—a market first. These weatherproof joysticks, combined with the Olsbergs Q200 main valve, provide a unique feature in the high seat models, allowing all crane and stabilizer functions to be controlled from the joysticks.

In addition, customers can opt for a ProCare™ service contract, ensuring original performance through regular maintenance checks and scheduled inspections. The most comprehensive package, ProCare Total R&M, covers repairs. Available plans may vary by market.
