HMM sets out 2020 goals

HMM president and CEO, Jae-hoon Bae, marked the crucial points of the previous year, outlined the company’s plans and set the 2020 targets in his New Year message.

HMM president started his message expressing his gratitude to the employees of the company, who skyrocketed business performance, despite the market difficulties.

In addition, HHM CEO highlighted the 24,000 TEU container vessel delivery in the second quarter of 2020, which will be deployed in the Far East – North Europe trade.

Jae-hoon Bae emphasized that there is a strong necessity for the company to impress its customers. “To compete with other top-rated carriers, offering differentiated value-added services is a top priority,” he added.

Furthermore, HMM President and CEO pointed out the IMO2020 new regulations, saying that HMM must be properly prepared and cope with the new eco standards.

He also highlighted that the delivery of mega container vessels and the new cooperation with THE Alliance will boost HMM to set a new milestone.
