Seoul-based ocean carrier HMM has announced a new general rate increase (GRI) for shipments from North India to the East Coast of South America (ECSA), including ports in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
Effective from 13 August, HMM will apply a GRI of US$200 per TEU and US$400 per FEU and high cube container.
“All other ancillary charges applicable at the time of shipment will continue to be assessed on top of quoted ocean freight rates,” noted the company in a statement.
