HMM joins United Nations Global Compact

South Korea’s major container carrier HMM announced earlier in February that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), as an official member.

UNGC is a global corporate sustainability initiative that encourages companies to align operations with universal human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption principles.

“We commit to upholding the ten principles for a sustainable future and take our steps towards finding solutions for humanitarian, environmental, and societal challenges,” stated HMM.
