HMM will launch a new service product providing links between the Far East, India, Middle East and Mediterranean regions, under the name of FIM.
FIM will be solely operated by the South Korean ocean carrier and will commence on the first week of August.
The port rotation of HMM’s FIM service will be the following:
Busan (South Korea) – Kwangyang (South Korea) – Yangshan (China) – Ningbo (China) – Shekou (China) – Singapore – Port Klang (Malaysia)- Kattupalli (India) – Nhava Sheva (India) – Mundra (India) – Karachi (Pakistan) – Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) – Damietta (Egypt) – Piraeus (Greece) – Genoa (Italy) – Valencia (Spain) – Barcelona (Spain) – Piraeus – Damietta – Jeddah – Karachi – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Kattupali – Singapore – Da Chan Bay (China) – Busan

The Seoul-headquartered box line will deploy 12 container ships on the service, which will need 84 days for one round trip.
“Piraeus will be the hub port connecting FIM with the South Balkan area, East Mediterranean, Black Sea and Adriatic ports through HMM’s expanded feeder network, enabling cross bookings to these areas as well,” said HMM Agency Greece in a statement.
