HMM Ranked Top Carrier 2018 by AgTC

HMM has been honored as “Top Ranked Carrier” for 2018 by the Agriculture Ocean

Transportation Coalition(AgTC), the largest association of importers and exporters of agricultural

and forestry products in the USA.

 

The results of the Ocean Carrier Performance Survey were announced at the 30th Annual Meeting

of the AgTC, in Tacoma, USA in front of over 400 industrial leaders. HMM, OOCL, and Hamburg

Süd were the three highest ranked carriers, and HMM was presented “Recognized Performance”

awards.

 

HMM official stated “With this award, HMM demonstrated the excellence of its service quality and

reliability. It also showed that HMM successfully regained customer trust.” And that “HMM will put

its utmost efforts into improving our service to meet various customer needs.”

 

The AgTC accessed carrier performance in each of these areas:

• Documentation Accuracy and Timeliness

• Quote Responsiveness

• Rate Competitiveness

• Claims Service

• Freight Billing Accuracy

• On-time Performance

• Ease of Doing Business

• Canceling or Rolling Bookings

• Equipment and space allocation

• Problem Resolution

• Customer service practices
