IDEC GROUP ASIA Vietnam gathered local authorities, project participants, and stakeholders on 13 December for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Horizon Park project.
This exceptional project in Vietnam is emerging in Bac Ninh, approximately thirty kilometres from Hanoi, offering 70,000 m² of turnkey business spaces on a strategically positioned 120,000-meter site.
“For more than 20 years we have been putting our unique expertise to good use in France with the development of business and logistics parks, vectors of jobs, regional attractivity and responsible commitment. With Horizon Park and the commitment of the IDEC GROUP ASIA Vietnam teams, we are integrating the same approach, the same degree of exactingness as in France, with a little extra bit of the French soul and spirit that was missing from the logistics and industrial offering in Vietnam,” stated Patrice Lafargue, president and founder of GROUPE IDEC.
This symbolic event provided a platform to introduce IDEC GROUP ASIA Vietnam’s latest flagship project, currently in development near Hanoi, with construction having commenced a few weeks ago.
Located in Bac Ninh, a province just 35 kilometres from the capital of Vietnam, this strategic site offers several advantages for industrial and logistics enterprises.
“In the space of 20 years, Bac Ninh has gone from a farming province to one of the largest industrial centres in Vietnam. This area boasts one of the highest economic growth rates in the country and is positioning itself as one of the country’s new industrial and logistics hubs,” said François Magnier, CEO of IDEC GROUP ASIA Vietnam.
Additionally, with Noi Bai International Airport merely 100 kilometres away and the port in Hai Phong nearby, along with seamless connections to main highways, the location holds substantial advantages for addressing storage and transit challenges.
Spanning 120,000 meters, Horizon Park has been conceptualised to feature multi-temperature platforms and industrial structures, ultimately offering 70,000 m² of turnkey buildings available for sale or rent.
Specifically, the development includes 26 storage units, each approximately 2,500 m² in size, adhering to the European equivalent of a Category A logistics standard. These units boast a floor load capacity of 5 tonnes per m², towering free heights of nearly 11 meters, and are equipped with all necessary facilities for seamless operation, including levellers, sectional doors, fire detection systems, and more.
Furthermore, Horizon Park has been conceived with a commitment to a responsible and virtuous approach. It is designed to adhere to the most stringent local standards, striving for Leed Gold certification. Notably, this includes the incorporation of a photovoltaic installation covering a portion of the diverse warehouses. The energy generated will be directly reinvested into the park and its structures.
Horizon Park emerges as the latest flagship project of IDEC GROUP ASIA Vietnam, a firm created from the collaboration between GROUPE IDEC, a major real estate entity with over two decades of experience in France and internationally, and ARCHETYPE GROUP, a real estate and engineering specialist with a robust presence across Asia.
