The US business publication Florida Trend has named Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) CEO, Eric Green, as one of the state’s most influential business leaders for the fourth consecutive year.
Among the publication’s 500 honorees, Eric Green was recognised as a transportation industry leader focused on growing JAXPORT’s impact on Florida’s economy.
Under his leadership, the JAXPORT has kept cargo moving uninterrupted throughout the pandemic while achieving record container volumes throughout the port’s 2021 fiscal year which ended on 30 September.
JAXPORT CEO welcomed the honour, commenting “This award and the successes we are experiencing are a reflection of the hard work of many people who have helped us navigate the industry challenges that have occurred over the last two years, including our Board, JAXPORT employees and private sector port workers.”
