JAXPORT welcomes ONE’s new West India North America service

Ocean Network Express (ONE) will debut its new West India North America (WIN) container service in May 2024, linking the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) directly with seven ports in Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Egypt.

The weekly WIN service will be provided by a fleet of nine vessels, all of which will be operated by ONE.

The port rotation will be Bin Qasim (Pakistan), Hazira (India), Nhava Sheva (India), Mundra (India), Damietta (Egypt), Algeciras (Spain), New York (US), Savannah (US), Jacksonville (US), Charleston (US), Norfolk (US), Damietta, Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Bin Qasim.

JAXPORT said it will be its first direct container service to each of these seven ports, with Damietta, Jeddah, and Algeciras all acting as key Mediterranean and Middle Eastern transshipment hubs.

“We are proud of our partnership with ONE, which has now opened up a new gateway for us. These new port calls and connections will link Jacksonville to some of the world’s fastest-growing economies, attracting more cargo and the jobs it supports to our city and state,” stated Eric Green, CEO of JAXPORT.

The weekly service will be connecting with the SSA Jacksonville Container Terminal (JCT) located at JAXPORT’s Blount Island Marine Terminal, where SSA Atlantic is set to deliver stevedoring services.

This marks ONE’s second service at JAXPORT, complementing their existing service to destinations in Asia and Canada through the EC5 rotation operated by THE Alliance.
