K LINE commences new general dry cargo warehouse in Thailand

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha’s (K LINE’s) company K LINE CONTAINER SERVICE, based in Thailand, will launch the operation of a new warehouse in the Bang Na district of Bangkok on 1 April.

The new warehouse is located in a location 30 kilometres from Bangkok’s city center, the largest consumption area in Thailand.

K Line said the new facility will handle e-commerce goods, and instead of sending products on a per-pallet or per-case basis, it can now dispatch products on a per-item basis. For this reason, multi-level racks that take advantage of the 15-meter-high ceiling have been placed.

The warehouse has an all-weather freight entry and exit thanks to the construction of a 15-meter-wide canopy that can hold a broad range of goods in small amounts.

Furthermore, K LINE CONTAINER SERVICE has four ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 28000) at its current warehouses and intends to acquire the same certifications for the new facility within the year.
