The Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) Group announced a 50-year land lease agreement that will see the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in KEZAD A (KEZAD Al Ma’mourah).

With ambitions to broaden its international reach, Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing is investing AE$110 million (approximately US$30 million) to build a 37,000 square meter facility dedicated to producing biscuits and confectionery products.

Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO of KEZAD Group, stated that this partnership is a crucial step in reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s status as a key regional center for the food and confectionery industry and plays a vital role in diversifying the UAE’s economy.

The food processing sector remains a strategic focus for Abu Dhabi, with KEZAD committed to fostering industry growth to meet the emirate’s food security and sustainability goals.
