Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – KEZAD Group, the largest operator of integrated and purpose-built economic zones, and Ducab Metals Business, a leading regional supplier of metal solutions, have signed a lease agreement to expand Ducab’s existing manufacturing facility in KEZAD.
The 50-year lease agreement was signed at the Make It In The Emirates Forum 2024, in the presence of Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO of KEZAD Group, and Khaled Lootah, Chairman of Ducab Group.
This agreement will enable Ducab Metals Business to expand its current 50,000 square metre facility by an additional 51,015 square metres, bringing its total footprint in KEZAD to over 100,000 square metres. The expansion aims to increase the production capacity of high-quality copper and aluminium industrial products.
In addition, the project will offer several strategic benefits, including leveraging Ducab’s proprietary, best-in-class research and development to bolster Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a hub for advanced metal products. Furthermore, the facility expansion is expected to create new job opportunities.
