Kuehne+Nagel introduces server and data centre logistics solution for cloud infrastructure sector

Kuehne+Nagel has unveiled a specialized logistics offering tailored to the rapidly growing cloud infrastructure sector.

This growth is further driven by the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), with Gartner predicting a 20.4% increase in public cloud spending in 2024, followed by a 22.1% rise in 2025 due to AI expansion.

“Customers of cloud infrastructure demand reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that cater to the specific needs of their industry and enhance the resilience of their supply chains. The introduction of this dedicated solution underscores our commitment to supporting the global expansion of customers in this rapidly growing sector,” stated Yngve Ruud, Member of the Management Board of Kuehne+Nagel International AG, responsible for Air Logistics.

Moreover, the new solution is designed to meet the specific demands of an industry that values reliability, security, predictability, and full supply chain visibility. It includes access to Kuehne+Nagel’s expansive global air logistics network, offering continuous pickup and delivery services, including last-mile white-glove transport solutions. A network of certified logistics experts is trained to handle sensitive and oversized servers with the highest standards of quality and security.

Real-time visibility is a key feature, allowing customers to track essential shipment information and make informed decisions swiftly. Digital tools help minimize risks and optimize shipping routes based on operational requirements.

Additionally, GPS tracking aims to ensure that shipments are monitored throughout their journey, providing detailed reports on temperature, light exposure, and chain of custody at every stage.
