Kuehne+Nagel opens new automotive spare parts center in Germany

Kuehne+Nagel, a leading logistics provider for the automotive sector, now operates a 170,000m² spare parts fulfilment and delivery centre in Wallersdorf, Germany.

From this location, spare parts are distributed to BMW markets globally. Kuehne+Nagel handles the physical receipt of goods, pre-packaging, management of packaging materials and empties, and loading goods onto shuttles for dispatch to BMW parts distribution locations worldwide.

Additionally, at the Dingolfing and Bruckberg sites, Kuehne+Nagel manages the logistical handling of BMW spare parts for global dispatch.

These regional distribution centres supply parts to local BMW dealerships worldwide, with Kuehne+Nagel supporting the BMW Group in spare parts logistics through approximately 1,700 employees across various locations.

“We are pleased to take over the extended tasks in spare parts logistics for the BMW Group. We support our customers in being more efficient in the supply of spare parts and being able to react more flexibly. The decisive factor here is not only our expertise in this area but also the growing trust between the two teams,” stated Tobias Jerschke, National Manager of Kuehne+Nagel Germany.
