Germany-headquartered logistics service provider Leschaco announced the appointment of David Williams as the company’s new Global Head of Tank Container.
Williams will take the helm from his predecessor, Maximilian Nause, who will assume the role of Global Head of Sales as of 1 January 2024.
David Williams brings a wealth of experience to his new position, showcasing a diverse background in various roles. With a track record in shipping, logistics, and services, he has been a business leader with extensive experience, holding senior management roles since 1991 within the AP Møller – Maersk Group. Before joining Leschaco Group, Williams served as vice president and Africa region managing director at Maersk.
According to Leschaco’s statement, in his role as Global Head of Tank Container, David Williams will spearhead the oversight and advancement of Leschaco’s tank container operations globally. His responsibilities include collaborative engagement with key stakeholders, effective management of global teams, and the pursuit of innovative solutions to elevate operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.

Additionally, Maximilian Nause, the former global head of tank container, is set to assume the role of global head of sales starting 1 January 2024. He will not only oversee the Leschaco Group’s global sales organization in this new role, but he will also drive the global implementation and investment initiatives aligned with the new sales strategy.
