Last year, global logistics service provider Leschaco Group announced the retirement of Oliver Oestreich, who served as chief operating officer and was a valued member of the Management Board.

His retirement is set to take effect in April 2024. Oliver Oestreich has been a forming figure within the Leschaco Group for more than 21 years, playing an important role in driving the company’s growth and achievements.

Throughout his tenure, Oliver Oestreich played a key role in expanding the Leschaco Group’s global presence and nurturing a culture of excellence within the organization.

“We feel gratitude to Oliver for his valued contributions and exemplary leadership over the past two decades. His vision, integrity and passion have been key in shaping the development of the company and positioning us for continued success,” commented Constantin Conrad, CEO of Leschaco Group.

Following the retirement of Oliver Oestreich, Nils Fahrenholz will step into the role of chief operating officer, effective 1 April 2024. Given Oliver Oestreich’s extensive tenure and contributions to the company, Leschaco had initially planned for a more extended transition period.

Nils Fahrenholz assumed the position of incoming chief operating officer on 1 April 2023, concurrently joining the Management Board. Throughout this period, he received support from Oliver Oestreich to ensure a seamless transition.

Nils Fahrenholz’s journey at Leschaco began in 2004 when he commenced his career as a forwarding agent. Over the years, he has held significant positions in both corporate functions and local country roles across different regions, showcasing his versatility and unwavering commitment to the company’s objectives. His recent tenure as managing director of Leschaco Singapore further underscores his ability to drive results and motivate teams across borders.

“I am honoured and excited to take on the role of chief operating officer at Leschaco Group. I am deeply committed to building on the strong foundation laid by Oliver Oestreich and to working collaboratively with our experienced teams to drive innovation, excellence, and sustainable growth,” he commented.
