Liberian Registry opens office in Miami

The Liberian Registry, administered by the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry (LISCR, LLC), a private US-owned and globally operated company, announced the inauguration of a new office in Miami, Florida.

This office will be the major centre for Registration, Mortgage, and Deletion (RM&D) services. The clients will additionally benefit from technical and commercial services provided by the Miami office, according to a statement.

“We are very excited to be adding Miami to the LISCR’s global base of regional offices. Our dedicated Miami Team is enthusiastic about providing the same exceptional service that our esteemed clients have come to expect from the Registry,” stated Alfonso Castillero, CEO of the Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry (LISCR).

The Liberian Registry consists of about 5,800 vessels totalling 252 million gross tons, accounting for more than 16% of the world’s ocean-going fleet.
