Lineage Logistics opens expanded cold storage facility in Denmark

Lineage Logistics, LLC opened its expanded cold storage facility in the Port of Aarhus in Denmark on 15 March 2023.

The extension adds 18,000 pallet spots, bringing the total to 27,500 pallet capacity.

Customers, including fish and shellfish producers, will benefit from simplified storage for their goods at a crucial site connecting seafood import and export, connecting Greenland and Denmark to the global market.

The Aarhus new facility can manage many different kinds of food, but it specialises in receiving processing, and shipping seafood, pork, and dairy products.

“Aarhus represents another strategic port location that can serve as a gateway for Lineage’s customers to markets around the world,” stated Carsten Wolf, regional vice president of Nordics, at Lineage Logistics.
