Maersk cancels three major sailings

Due to expected slow volume pick-up following the Christmas and New Year holiday, Maersk has decided to adjust capacity to forecasted demand by blanking the WK 1-2020 Maersk Penang westbound sailing (and the corresponding eastbound sailing in WK 3-2020).

Below you will find a summary of the void sailing. “We aim to minimize the impact to your cargoes by securing alternative routings wherever possible. Please feel free to reach out to your local Maersk Customer Service representatives or check check schedules for more details,” Maersk says in its announcement.
