Arabian Star service to launch new Maersk Arabian offering

Maersk Line has announced the replacement of Arabian Express with the new Arabian Star service, which will commence on 17 August and will connect Far East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

Maersk said that with the introduction of the new service, it aims to make its customers’ supply chain more efficient both in terms of cost and time, “day-in and day-out”.

The last sailing of the Arabian Express, which will be terminated once Arabian Star launches, will be Josephine Maersk (voyage 034W) estimated to depart from the port of Colombo on 21 August.

Arabian Star service rotation: Port Klang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Jebel Ali – Dammam – Doha – Hazira – Colombo

“We are confident that the new service will support your business to grow further and allow you to optimise your supply chain,” added the Danish carrier.
