Maersk has announced changes in Quebec weight levels for 2020 based on the spring thaw period, following the regulations issued by the Quebec Ministry of Transport for the annual spring thaw period.
The weight restrictions apply to all truck movements to and from Quebec. To comply with the regulations – Maersk will implement the following maximum acceptable cargo weight restrictions:

- Zone 1: From Monday, March 9 (00:01) to Friday, May 8 (23:59)

Weight restrictions are not limited to the total cargo weight in the container, said Maersk. Restrictions require proper weight distribution over the axles, the Danish company adds.
