Maersk implements fresh surcharges worldwide

Danish ocean carrier Maersk has announced new peak season surcharges (PSS) worldwide.

Effective from 4 November, the company will revise the PSS from Indian ports to the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait for all dry containers, as follows:

Additionally, Maersk will increase the peak season surcharge for North Europe, excluding France, to Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Guinea, Mauretania and Cape Verde, effective from 10 November for 20 dry, 40 dry, 40Hdry and 45 high dry boxes.

Moreover, the Copenhagen-based box line will revise the PSS from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Timor Leste, to New Zealand, Fiji Islands and French Polynesia, effective in November, as follows:
