Maersk implements updated PSS from China to Philippines

Maersk will adjust the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) rates for both dry and reefer containers departing from North China and East China ports and heading to the Philippines.

Effective from 1 January 2025, the PSS rates for the ports of Batangas and Subic will be as follows:

Origin Destination Effective Dates Container Type Currency New tariff levels
Qingdao, Xingang, Dalian and North China area
Ningbo, Shanghai and East China area
Batangas, Philippines and Subic, Philippines
1 January 2025
All dry, reefer and 45′ containers

US$50/20′ container
US$100/40′ or 45′ container

Additionally, Maersk’s updated PSS rates for the ports of Manila will be as follows:
