Maersk announces changes in SAECS service

Maersk has announced changes in the SAECS service.

The Danish carrier will replace the call to the north of Algeciras with a call to Port Tangier.

The updated rotation will be as follows:

Port Elizabeth > Durban > Cape Town > Port Tangier > Rotterdam > London Gateway > Bremerhaven > Rotterdam > Algeciras > Port Elizabeth

“These deployment changes will result in schedule reliability in the market and a more competitive transit time with a better connection to Northern Europe and the Mediterranean region,” said Maersk.

The new rotation will take effect from the end of July.
