Maersk removes Ningbo port call from Asia – Latin America service

Maersk has announced the removal of the port of Ningbo in China from its ACE service rotation (Sunday window).

The Danish ocean carrier said it made this decision to improve schedule reliability in the Asia – Latin America market.

“Coverage from Ningbo to Latin America will continue on a weekly basis via our AC3 service (Tuesday window) for cargo connections, ” noted Maersk, adding that coverage from Latin America to the Chinese port will also continue via the existing AC system.

The first container vessel which will sail under the updated rotation will be the 8,160 TEU Clifford Maersk.
