Maersk has announced improvements to its Sakura service’s port rotation.

The network modification seeks to improve Maersk’s ability to meet the import and export demands of the Japanese market while also ensuring the connection of client cargo to essential core services in Shanghai, resulting in a more efficient and reliable service.

The new Sakura Service will connect Shanghai (Eastbound) (China) to Kobe (Japan), Nagoya (Japan), Yokohama (Japan), and Shanghai (Westbound) (China).
