Malta Freeport adds two new services

Malta Freeport Terminals has introduced two services that provide customers with quick transit from Malta to different European ports, including seven-day delivery to Felixstowe and Southampton in the United Kingdom.

According to the statement, the NC LEVANT express, which is run by CMA CGM and ONE and already calls at the Freeport on its Southbound route, from now on it will provide services to Northern Europe, the Western Mediterranean, North Africa, and Adriatic ports.

Furthermore, the NC LEVANT Express provides fast transit times from Malta to different  European ports. For example seven days to Felixstowe, nine days to Hamburg, 13 days to Rotterdam, 14 days to Antwerp and 17 days to Le Havre.

The NC LEVANT port rotation on both southbound and northbound is as follows: Felixstowe, UK – Hamburg, Germany – Rotterdam, Netherlands – Antwerp, Belgium – Le Havre, France – Malta Freeport, Malta – Alexandria, Egypt – Damietta, Egypt –  Beirut, Lebanon – Iskenderun, Turkiye – Mersin, Turkiye – Malta Freeport – Tanger, Morocco – Felixstowe

In the meantime, the Europe, Pakistan, and India Consortium (EPIC), operated by CMA CGM, COSCO, and OOCL, is scheduled to begin calling at the Freeport next month.

Malta Freeport stated that the route of EPIC service will provide direct fixed-day weekly calls to the north European ports. The port rotation will be as follows: Southampton, UK – Rotterdam, Netherlands – Bremerhaven, Germany – Antwerp, Belgium – Le Havre, France – Algeciras, Spain – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Jebel Ali, Dubai – Abu Dhabi, UAE  – Karachi, Pakistan – Nhava Sheva, India – Mundra, India – Malta Freeport – Tanger Med, Morocco – Southampton
