Market awakening in China and Oceania leads MSC to restructure its network

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will update its Asia-Oceania network in order to manage the strong demand on China and Oceania market.

MSC has decided to reshuffle its Capricorn and Kiwi Express services aiming to enhance its network in the Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand markets.

Additionally, the Swiss-based line has announced that the former Sydney Sweeper service will be replaced by the Panda line, offering a direct connection between China and Australia.

“MSC aims, with this enhanced network, to offer customers operating businesses in China, Southeast Asia and Oceania, fast and reliable services to respond to their needs,” said the company in its announcement.

Capricorn’s new port rotation will be Singapore – Fremantle – Adelaide – Melbourne – Bluff – Napier – Tauranga – Auckland – Brisbane – Jakarta – Tanjung Pelepas
