Mawani, Saudi Post sign deal to boost Saudi Arabia’s logistics sector

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and Saudi Post (SPL) have signed an agreement aiming to improve and optimise service delivery in Saudi Arabia in line with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS).

According to Mawani, through this collaboration, the companies are set to deploy the latest technologies and modern capabilities in developing a high-performance and cost-efficient logistics sector in Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, the partnership will see SPL manage Mawani’s postal needs through its Express Mail Service (EMS), a customised solution for Saudi Arabia’s government and non-government sectors that offers a distribution channel both locally and internationally.

The deal was signed by Majid Al Malik, Mawani’s vice president for Shared Services and Digital Transformation, and Rakan Al-Daifallah, government sales general manager.
