MSC enhances Germany – US connections with updated Transatlantic service

MSC has decided to adjust the port rotation of its Ecuador – NWC & Scanbaltic – USA service.

This change includes the addition of a direct call at Hamburg port in Germany during the service’s westbound journey, establishing a new weekly transatlantic connection between Hamburg and the East Coast of the United States.

“This addition aims to bolster connections between Germany and the US, showcasing MSC’s ongoing dedication to enhancing its Transatlantic network,” said the Swiss/Italian ocean carrier in a statement.

Effective from 28 April, the updated rotation of MSC’s Ecuador – NWC & Scanbaltic – USA service will be as follows:

Paita (Peru) – Cristobal (Panama) – Moin (Costa Rica) – Antwerp (Belgium) – Rotterdam (Netherlands) – Bremerhaven (Germany) – Klaipeda (Lithuania) – Gdynia (Poland) – Gothenburg (Sweden) – Hamburg (Germany) – Antwerp (Belgium) – Felixstowe (United Kingdom) – Le Havre (France) – Boston (United States) – New York (United States) – Philadelphia (United States) – Norfolk (United States) – Jacksonville (United States) – Freeport (Bahamas) – Rodman (Panama) – Guayaquil (Ecuador) – Puerto Bolivar (Ecuador) – Guayaquil (Ecuador) – Paita

MSC noted that Hamburg to Boston shipments will need 14 days, Hamburg to Jacksonville shipments will need 24 days and Hambrug to Guayaquil ones will take 35 days.
