MSC launches new feeder service in South Africa

The largest container line in the world MSC has announced the launch of a new dedicated feeder service from the port of Coega to the port of Cape Town.

The new intra-South Africa container service will have the following port rotation: Coega (South Africa) – Cape town (South Africa) – Coega

The 3,500 TEU container vessel MSC Anusha III will be the first ship to sail under the new service’s rotation and is expected to arrive at the port of Coega on 23 January.

MSC believes that its new product, Shosholoza Feeder Service (SFS), will provide its clients with the same benefit of having a direct call into Cape Town without transshipment delays.
